It is a parent’s worst nightmare when their child ends up in the Intensive Care Unit. Whether your child is being admitted because of a major surgery, an accident or another health related incident, you are counting on the ICU staff to deliver your child back to you. At West Boca’s Pediatric ICU we take that role very seriously.

Sometimes your child may need to spend several days to several months in the ICU.  Spending any amount of time in the ICU can be challenging. But our team is committed to making your child feel at home and cared for. In our ICU, there’s often a higher ratio of nurses to patients than on the hospital’s main medical floors. This allows nurses to be more available for you and your child. It’s just one way that we go the extra mile for our patients.
